Angling scene. Two fishermen with rods wading above a small waterfall, one playing a large salmon. A group of animated, well-dressed onlookers on the near bank of the river. Other figures on the opposite bank, near a large building. <br>The scene appears generic, and no specific location for it can be traced in the text, much of which relates to catching salmon.<br><br>The style of the engraving makes identification of the engraver as James Heaviside Clark a virtual certainty.
