Pen and ink sketch of a plan of Dublin, with index of prominent locations. A fragment of printed plate representing a ship is pasted upon the River Liffey. Further smaller vessels are seen upstream. <br>This plan appears to be a slightly foreshortened adaptation of John Speed’s 1610 map, or the Braun & Hogenberg map (1617) derived from it. Among the differences it presents are the addition of trees in Stephen’s Green, and more houses south and south-west of that area.
