The village of Newtown Mount Kennedy is large for an Irish settlement, neat (…) Katie and I strolled through the village and having my picture book with me I made a sketch, not however selecting it for any striking point of beauty but for offering the best subject for a pencil recollection of the place – my sister has done ample justice to it.
