Contributor to the Dublin Penny Journal and to the Irish Penny Journal; his witty ‘Darby Doyle’s Voyage to Quebec’, printed in the Dublin Penny Journal (15 Dec. 1832), is often attributed to Lover. Contributor to Henry Brereton Code's Angling excursions (under the pen name Geoffrey Greydrake) and author of The Green Bank (1843) and the Angling Philosopher (n.d.). Also a fishing tackle manufacturer with a shop in Woodquay, Dublin. |
