| Biographical Notes | Lithographer and watercolour artist. He formed a partnership with William Day, under the name 'Day and Haghe'. From 1838, following their appointment by Queen Victoria, they signed their illustrations 'Day and Haghe, Lithographers to the Queen'. From the mid-1850s Haghe concentrated more on watercolours 'and gained a reputation for his architectural scenes of northern Europe'. Also painted in oils |
