| Biographical Notes | With Louis Haghe (q.v.) he formed the lithographic firm of Day & Haghe in London. Their technical superiority and innovative techniques (notably in chromolithography) earned them an appointment to the Queen in 1838. Topographical views were among the many subjects at which they excelled. |
