| Biographical Notes | Charles Cousen (c. 1819 - 1889)
'Line engraver and etcher born in Yorkshire, pupil of W. and E. Finden, brother of the engraver John Cousen. Engraved after a large number of contemporary landscape paintings but is known primarily for over 50 plates engraved for The Art Journal from 1850 to 1858.
