Biographical Notes	English engraver, the great-nephew of the poet John Milton, and son of John Milton, a painter of marines. His year of birth is given as 1742 or 1743. He spent some time in Dublin. In 1783 he published the first four plates of his Views of Seats in Ireland based on drawings by Francis Wheatley, John James Baralet and others. The final instalment appeared in 1793.
